The second batch of Golden State Stimulus checks is on its way to Californians who qualify. According to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration, two out of every three California citizens are eligible for this exclusive stimulus. California residents without dependents can get $600, but those with one or more dependents can receive up to $1,100 during this round of payments. As of August 27th, Californians should have begun receiving these payments. Additionally, undocumented California residents are able to receive this stimulus if they qualify.

How You Qualify

• Filing your 2020 taxes by October 15, 2021
• A California Adjusted Gross Income (CA AGI) of $1 to $75,000 for the 2020 tax year
• Have wages of $0 to $75,000 for the 2020 tax year
• Be a California resident for more than half of the 2020 tax year
• Be a California resident on the date payment is issued
• Cannot be claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer
• A dependent is a qualifying child or qualifying relative.
